The Queen’s Building was purpose built to hold a Learning Resource Centre and occupied in August 1994. It was a Green Building of the Year finalist in 1996 and has had various alterations and refurbishments through the years with the last happening as we came back to site after the first covid lockdown. The purpose of the most recent refurbishment was to update the ground floor for form a Student Centre and move other student facing colleagues in. Recent other projects have included a wellbeing room, an exhibition space and an art trail documenting the (mostly) public facing art in the building and along the campus spine.
