Bishopsgate Institute has been offering access to its library since 1895. It holds a large collection of rare and unique Special Collections and Archives of local and national importance which explore London history, labour and socialist history, free thought and humanism, co-operation, protest and campaigning.

This tour of the refurbished Grade II* listed Library will provide an opportunity to find out more about its unique and fascinating history. The tour will show highlights from the Institute’s printed and archival collections on London, Protest, Feminist and LGBTQ History.

The tour will be led by Stefan Dickers, Bishopsgate Institute’s Library and Archives Manager.
