Statement on Values and Inclusion

The M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries is a collaborative organisation that works to improve library and information services within the M25 region and more widely across the East and Southeast. Its aim is to provide services and resources for the benefit of library staff, learners and researchers.

Vision

To enhance collaborative expertise in and around the M25 to inspire our members to deliver transformational change in order to offer the best possible services supporting academic and scholarly endeavour.

Mission

To play a significant role in ensuring that academic library services within our region are well placed to maximise the opportunities of the present and respond to the challenges of the future.

The M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries and its cpd25 professional development programme aim to provide professional development opportunities for all library staff, foster good practice amongst members and facilitate knowledge exchange and experience. The M25 Consortium is dedicated to providing a positive and inclusive environment for everyone.

We invite you to help make our events welcoming and respectful to all participants. All participants at M25 and cpd25 events are asked to frame discussions as openly and inclusively as possible, and to be mindful of how language, images or behaviours may be perceived by others.

The M25 Consortium seeks to provide a safe environment in which diverse participants may learn, network, and share experience with colleagues in mutual respect. In doing so, we recognise a shared responsibility to create and nurture this environment for the benefit of all.
