Restructuring at Brunel

A new staff structure took effect on 1 August 2008, after an extended consultation period. The new structure is based around three teams – Academic Support, Services Support and Systems Support. For more details on the new teams please see our web pages at

Following an internal review, the University has decided to disband its separate “Learning and Teaching Development Unit” and incorporate its various elements (learning advice, e-learning, academic practice, volunteering) into existing departments. One outcome of this review is that the Effective Learning Advice Service will move into the Library (both organisationally and physically) by the start of the next academic year.
