Imperial College London – Refurbishment update
Imperial College London
The refurbished Level 1 of the Central Library has now been open for almost 8 months – the increased usage by students and the interest from colleagues across the country has been amazing.
Student activity in the building has increased by a third; both in gate entries and circulation of stock. Key statistics for first term and an overview of the project are available in our facts and figures information sheet at
http://www.imperial.ac.uk/library/pdf/press_release_January_2009.pdf
We’ve welcomed colleagues, both nationally and internationally, to the library and are always pleased to discuss the refurbishment, its impact on the service and of course tour the building. An introductory video is available at our homepage at http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/library
