The Walk-in Access to M25 Libraries (WAM25) Project began in Janauary 2008 funded under the HEFCE Shared Services Programme. The project is planned to have three stages:

  1. Feasibility Study and Business Plan (known as the Final Outcome Report)
  2. Pilot Project (Design and Operation)
  3. Expansion of pilot to a full service across the M25 membership

HEFCE have awarded funding for Stage 1 and this work was completed on 27 June 2008. The "Final Outcome Report" delivered to HEFCE forms a bid for the second stage of the project. It is not currently known when the outcome of the bid will be announced.
