In his farewell Chairman's note in the last issue of the News bulletin, Nick Bevan referred to a new-style Annual Conference, a new Strategic Plan and a new face as Chair. I hope everyone agrees that the conference in April on the theme of Partnerships and Priorities was a great success, also serving as launch pad for the Consortium's new Strategic Plan 2010/11 - 2012/13.. As for a new face as Chair, I am delighted to take on the role and look forward to working with colleagues across the M25 in an environment where shared services, working together and join-up are going to become more and more important with each passing day. I look forward to exciting and innovative M25 Consortium ideas, initiatives and developments!
