After Nick Bevan's departure to Middlesex, Ann Cummings has taken over as Acting Director of Library Services.

Brunel University Library moved to 24 hour opening from 23rd November, and so far this is proving sucessful - with around 150-170 students in at 2am each night. The Academic Skills Service (ASK - part of the Library since August) ran a very successful Academic Skills week in November, with over 700 students attending a week of sessions provided by the library and other partners. Currently all steam ahead preparing to be interviewed, as part of Brunel's senior management group, by the QAA as part of the Institutional Audit next week.
