Within its remit, the Quality Working Group identifies and investigates issues relating to quality of relevance to the membership and develops templates, checklists and guidelines that can be used by member libraries. During 2005/2006 the group produced two documents that it hopes will prove useful to a number of member libraries.
This new template includes a set of examples to show how the template can be used in key service areas. The group would like member libraries to contribute to the collection by adding further examples over time. The template can be used either as an internal document for library teams or as an external document to express levels of service institutions can expect from their library service. See http://www.m25lib.ac.uk/service_level_definition_template_2.html
This checklist indicates pros and cons of various feedback mechanisms. If you have any comments about the above or would like to add to them please email the Chair (Nicky Kershaw) This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
