The Resource Discovery Working Group (RDWG) is looking for new members. You may want to consider putting yourself forward and/or appropriate members of your staff, to fill these positions. The RDWG needs members with both Technical Services and User Services backgrounds. The focus is on providing members (and via them, their users) with collaborative approaches to identifying information resources available to each member library. Much of this involves guiding the development of the InforM25 service (and its four components), and looking for ways to extend its functionality to take advantage of developing technology, and of initiatives elsewhere in the information environment. Currently we are seeking two potential members at Director, or M25 representative level, and one further member, possibly with technical strengths. The Group meets about five times a year, currently at the LSE, and its work is underpinned by the M25 Support Team Manager, John Gilby. If you are interested in any of the vacancies please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , RDWG Chair, providing a few lines of information about yourself, ie current position and interests, skills and experience you could bring to the group.
