Work has begun on the M25 Staff Room project, a new tool to facilitate communication, collaboration, and networking between staff members at M25 member libraries. Significant progress has been made on defining the nature and shape of the virtual Staff Room. A user group was set up to brainstorm needs and ideas, two workshops were held in early March and attracted some 16 participants whose lively contributions will enable us to develop a prototype. This will be presented to a wider "feedback group" and hopefully will make it possible to present a basic prototype at the M25 Annual Conference on April 23rd.
