After a very successful visit by a panel from the USA, the university has become only the 2nd UK university to achieve regional accreditation by the Middle States Commission for Higher Education (MSCHE). 

All the university's student services, including Library Services, were highly commended for their level of achievement against the appropriate standards.  The panel were particularly interested in our work in the area of information literacy which our newly formed working group will be taking forward during the coming year.
