Improved study access to the sound archive at Imperial War Museum

The Imperial War Museum's Sound Archive is one of the country's most important oral history resources.  From February 19th this year, public study access to the Archive has been transferred from a separate site to the Reading Room in the Museum's main Lambeth Road building.

In addition to enabling the digitised and analogue recordings to be used in direct conjunction with the Museum's paper collections, the new arrangements mean that the Sound Archive is now available six days a week instead of the former five.
