The M25 Disaster Management Group was set up by the M25 Consortium of Higher Education Libraries to:

• Promote awareness and best practice in disaster control management including disasters affecting IT-based services.
• Assist in the dissemination of information on disaster control management in conjunction with the M25 Staff

Development Group/University of London Staff Training Group.

• Undertake co-operative initiatives, including investigating purchasing opportunities and ways of carrying them through.
