From Engine Room to Shop Front |

Services and resources produced by the Consortium’s working groups are given greater prominence on the redesigned website. A wide range of resources that cover the diverse aspects of library and information service provision can be found in the Services and Resources section.
Resources are grouped together under themed sections such as Quality Management and Disaster Recovery. This new section highlights the ‘shop front’ organisation of the website designed to reflect the expectations and priorities of the Consortium’s key audiences. A template that can be used to develop Service Level Definitions is the latest addition to this section. Produced by the Quality Working Group, the template can easily be used to develop service level definitions in a variety of service areas. The group has also developed a number of examples of how the template might be filled in for service areas including induction and fetching from store. |
