This workshop is part of the cpd25 Aspects programme, aimed at library staff looking to acquire additional skills and knowledge or staff working towards Chartership.

Librarians are increasingly working with learning technologies in their institutions and beyond. As well as acquiring technical expertise, they must also keep up with developments in the way teaching and learning is delivered in the digital environment and find new ways to support students in this rapidly changing world. This session – delivered by a librarian and a learning technologist  – will look at how the role of the librarian can intersect with learning technologies, and will survey current initiatives and opportunities in this exciting field.

Speakers: Elizabeth Charles and Leo Havemann, Birkbeck College.

Venue
Black Room, BMA House, British Medical Association, Tavistock Square, WC1H 9JP

Cost
£45 for members and £68 for other institutions.

This session takes place alongside cpd25 Aspects workshop ‘UX’. If an individual books both sessions a 10% discount will be applied.
