1. Minutes from previous meeting (27/1/5)

2. Matters from previous meeting (26/10/4)

Consortial recovery contracts. CW to recommend not to seek exclusive M25 contracts but to use existing ALM deal.

3. Strategic planning within the M25 Consortium

Each group within steering group to review their section plan and set targets.

Group to look at adding extra external links to other disaster recovery groups. Add Business continuity to business plan.

CW to update group remit and web pages

4. Business continuity planning

To add in the 2005/6 session. Group to investigate guest speakers such as Kings College, HEFCE, and Institution of University Administrators.

5. Insurance of collections and premises

Group reminded of article in the March 2005 issue of CILIP Update about fire in Edinburgh University AI Library. (http://www.cilip.org.uk/publications/updatemagazine/archive/archive2005/march/battersbymarch05.htm).
Action: CR to investigate guest speakers.

6. Training events in conjunction with CPD25 2004-2005

Group to look at HEFCE website for suitable events

7. Review of the M25 Disaster Management Group membership

M25 directors to be contacted to get volunteers for the DMG
