CPD25 is pleased to announce the launch of the new Work Exchange Scheme for CILIP Chartership candidates. Details are now available on our website, www.cpd25.ac.uk, and the first applications for places are now being received.

Work placements will consist mainly of work shadowing and discussions with other staff, but could also include some training. cpd25 will act as a clearing house of CILIP Chartership candidates based at M25 Consortium libraries who are seeking a work exchange placement (normally ten working days as a minimum).

The scheme aims to enable candidates to:

• Gain new insights and wider professional experience.
• Experience the working environment in a different type of library. 
• Reflect on what they have learnt and experienced.
