The group is responsible for an annual programme, cpd25 Aspects, a series of ten introductory career development workshops which focus on topical areas of library and information work. The programme is aimed at professionally qualified staff looking to acquire additional skills, library staff without a qualification and professionals working towards CILIP chartership. The group will also focus on topics such as career pathways, succession planning, training for staff such as library assistants, job application and interview skills and training for Staff Development Officers.
