cpd25 Aspects: Essential skills and knowledge for the twenty-first century librarian

The cpd25 Aspects programme is a series of ten introductory career development workshops which focus on topical areas of library and information work. All the workshops are approximately two hours in length.

The programme, which supersedes the Professional Qualification Workshops series, has been redesigned to appeal to a wider range of library staff. The events remain suitable for professionally qualified staff looking to acquire additional skills and knowledge but will also appeal to library staff without a qualification, who are perhaps thinking of a career in the field or would simply like to widen their awareness of libraries or improve their job prospects. The series also continues to be an option for professionals working towards CILIP chartership.

The title ‘Aspects’ refers to the various aspects of librarianship that the programme aims to cover and the topic of each workshop has been carefully chosen in order to reflect key areas. As with all cpd25 events, workshops are delivered by current practitioners, and this year’s programme includes a number of new speakers and themes.

We are now taking bookings for all sessions. Please see the events calendar to make a booking.
