The new Learning Information Centre on the Ground Floor of the Malet Street Building at Birkbeck was officially opened by the Princess Royal on the 25th, September, 2007. The shared space incorporates a new library entrance, café, advice on study skills, and guidance on Birkbeck courses.  Library staff were amongst those who met the Princess Royal.
