These 'resource discovery' projects are all underpinned by a national
reciprocal access scheme called SCONUL Research Extra, which gives
researchers physical access to libraries within the Consortium and allows
staff and researchers of member libraries to borrow material.

UK Libraries Plus includes many of our member libraries as participants. It is a national co-operative venture between HE sector libraries which permits access and borrowing facilities for part-time, distance, and placement students. It includes provision for full-time students and staff to use other libraries on a reference only basis. http://www.uklibrariesplus.ac.uk/ We are a partner in Libraries and Learners in London. This is a mutually beneficial, reference access scheme to facilitate access by public library users to academic libraries within the Consortium. http://www.londonlibraries.org.uk/servlets/llil/home Many M25 libraries also participate in the Lamda service which provides speedy electronic document delivery of journal articles at a competitive price. http://lamdaweb.mcc.ac.uk/ |
