A Call for New Working Group Members |
|
Two of the M25 Consortium's working groups are still looking for new members. You may want to consider putting yourself forward and/or appropriate members of your staff, to fill these positions.
The M25's working groups fulfil a dual function: they do excellent work in taking forward the Consortium's strategies and developing services for members, but they also function as a vehicle for professional networking and staff development. Please look at the opportunities available and forward them to your staff as appropriate. Those interested in any of the vacancies listed below should contact the relevant Chair by Friday 21 December, providing a few lines of information about themselves, ie current position and interests, skills and experience they could bring to the group.

The RDWG requires two new members, one at Director level and one in an information services-type role. The RDWG is concerned with resource discovery issues for the Consortium, in particular the development of the InforM25 suite of services. Technical expertise is not required, but members should have an interest in the area of resource discovery and information services.
