Why carry out a User Survey?

This half-day workshop will look at the purposes, benefits and pitfalls of undertaking a user survey. It will include short presentations on in-house, intermediate and external methodologies such as LibQUAL and a workshop session on interpreting results. The morning will conclude with a lunch and an opportunity for informal exchange.

The event will be led by Chris West, Director of Information Services, University of Wales Swansea, who is Secretary of the SCONUL Advisory Committee on Performance Improvement.

Cost is £40 for CPD25 members, £95 for M25 affiliate members and £130 for other institutions, including lunch and refreshments.

Please note that there are 24 places available for this event, which will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Bookings will close on the 19th November 2004 and any cancellations after that date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a “no show??? on the day 100% cancellation charges will apply.
